position small bore Shoots, Bench rest Shoots for Rimfire Rifle and Centerfire Rifle, Bullseye matches and Action pistol matches.

Kodiak
Island Sportsman's Association is located in Monashka Bay on the Monashka Bay Road. Take a right hand turn onto the VFW
road, drive past the VFW and down the hill. Stop by and check us out.
This range is
open to members and non-members 5-6 days a week for most of the year.
Shut downs happen at times, so check the daily schedule posted at the range,
on our web page or call 486-8566 for a recording of events and times.
When you first enter the building, you
will find yourself in the lobby. The lobby is partitioned off, however at times it can be very loud from
the gunfire. The firing line is under the Range Officers control, if the firing line is HOT! Please
be patient, the Range Officer will be out to greet you when it is safe to do so.We have a TV and VCR for people to use. You can bring your own tapes for those who will not be shooting,
or we have a small selection of firearm related videos.
The indoor range has 10
firing lines with target carriers that stop at 9, 25, 50, and 75 feet. We allow all pistols up to .45 caliber and rimfire
rifles.
All cartridges
used in the indoor range must be under 2,000 ft. per second. If you are unsure about your firearm, please
ask the R.O. for assistance.
Monashka Bay Outdoor Shooting Range

shooting benches and target stands at points out to 100 yards. Bring your own targets. If the indoor is open, you can purchase targets.
After shooting, please take your targets
and trash with you. Thanks.
